we drove down to Narooma for our whale watching session but there were no WHALES. so dissappointing! the skipper brought us round the Montague Island to see Australian and New Zealand seals. on our way back we saw a couple of playful dolphins. that's $60 bucks gone. i want to whales ! the trip wld be wonderful if we saw some
wanted to go for horse-riding but the sch at Narooma was not opened till mid sept. the skipper told us to drive down to central tilba , a historic town and have a look. he said we will love it. Indeed, it was very beautifu and colourful. There was a street name called ' mockingbird', it reminds me of ' to kill a mockingbird ' . I really love this place alot. We had our lunch there. I ordered chicken and cheese sandwich. The bread was delicious, it was very soft, unlike the usual kind of sandwich i ate. The ice coffee wasnt that gd thou.the scenery of the cafe was awesome, looking out to the green plains. WOW. I would like to chill out there, drinking coffee, chatting , eating my sandwich and laze the whole afternoon enjoying the sun.
The town was only a single street. The population at Central Tilba was like abt hundred ? well, i strongly recommend this place to anyone who's going to batemans bay. i want to go there again!
I saw this advertisement abt a horse riding sch nearby. The shop owner was very helpful, he called to the sch and bked for us. As they need time to prepare their horses, we explored the street. I bought this mushroom shaped earing stand from this woodcraft shop. It cost me $33, expensive but unique.
Horse- Riding was fun. We took our horses out for a stroll along the lake. Initially, uncle's horse was ' bullying' my horse, n my horse ( his name is arrow) got scared n gallop. I was frightened. Then the instructor hold on to my horse n walked on. As the weather got colder, i was kinda shivering 'cause i did not wear my jacket n regretted it. The instructor thought i was still scare and asked me to relax myself. Haha. Overall, it was fun... i want to do that again. 1:03 PM
