went to st kilda beach.... it was damn quiet....well, it was a monday... met an old man, harry .... had a chat with him. he was an retiree, living on pension. and went to e beach everyday to meet his friends... he was reading his newspaper, sitting on a towel.... had a big bag beside him,on top of his bag were 2 umbrellas. he didn't know where was singapore, funny thou 'cause he seems knowledgeable. he haven been outside of australia before cause he was afraid of terrorism. didn't feel comfortable flying out of australia...he just came back from queensland where it was hotter 'cause melbourne was too cold for him. he told us where e little penquins live behind e rocks, and all of them went out to e sea, n will be back in e evening when e sun sets. he love to eat spicy chicken from kfc... loves how asians cooked their vegetables... dark clouds came and rain, we continued talking in e rain for abt 10 mins where e dark clouds float away and the sun came again. took pictures with him n promised to send over to him. was saying that we will come back during e summer to see him again in the same place....i hope i can make it.... i also wish that he was still there...
went to sofitel hotel again for buffet lunch. 25 bucks... food wasn't nice at all, convinced myself that i was paying for the view i was admiring from the restaurant. love the passionfruit tart thou.... i could see the beach from there. wondering if harry was still sitting there reading his newspaper...
went shopping in the city again. bought a fcuk t shirt...kinda ugly when i wear it 'cause of my big tummy.... but nevertheless, i still bought it... bought a muscial tin box as well... u had to wind the box urself....chose the song " over e rainbow". it was something unique which i haven see b4....maybe they r selling in singapore... who cares.... i really cant wait to go back to singapore and check out the stores man! i really wonder what mango, zara, topshop r selling now....what's e fashion like in singapore....
was too full to had dinner...but feel obliged to eat 'cause was afraid that i will get hungry later. went to a hong kong style cha chan ting for dinner....phina recommend their salt and pepper chicken rice.... we ordered one with 2 eggs as it was a large plate.... ordered one veggie as well.... had "dong yuan yang"( hk drink, mixture of coffee n tea) ....taste e same as what i had in hk.... we chat abt our country sch system....sounds like a serious conversation.... then came 2 singaporean guys sitting beside us. i overheard them speaking n knew they were from singapore. then it was their turn to hear our conversation and conclude that i was from singapore as well... haha.... ever since i came back, i have a habit of looking at ppls' face and listening to the way they speak and guess if they r singaporeans anot.... guess everyones' e same ....miss home and when u see ur own ppl...u feel very homely....
went to crown again as alice haven been there. we were given the crown card with $5 worth of credits free.... won $3 playing jackpot, but was greedy and played somemore...in e end, i lost $1.... sobz sobz.... well, think i have become a drinker and a gambler since i came here.... went to cafe greco again... we sat outside as we wanted to see the fire show ... ordered latte.... this time round, decided to ask what r their recommendations... wanted to eat something diff for a change... ordered apple strudel....nice nice...the apple was hot... something which i nv tried b4... after watching e fire show( which was nothing special thou) we went home..
something funny happened. alice was taking pic when her camera was low battery....then the lens couldn't close. we were laughing at it... then as we pass by the flinder station, the view was very nice. took out my camera n took( it was also having low battery)... then we went to federation square... after taking one pic, the camera "died", same outcome as alice's camera...the lens couldn't close.... haha...
as it was abt midnight, we had to go off as our tram ticket was only for one day..... so we rush off to take e tram... that's another day gone.....
